Minichamps is well known for their passion and high-quality products. A high standard of perfection and close supervision are key throughout their development process, with many steps being completed by hand. Among the masterpieces of Minichamps are a wide variety of Mercedes Benz models, as seen here at Collectable Diecast. These models are all finely crafted and desirable pieces for any display, but here is a highlight of a few of our favorites.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was the first Benz designed fully in-house by AMG. Gull-wing doors are the most distinguishing feature of this line of Sport Light Super vehicles, a tribute to its predecessor the 300SL. The 2010 model had a coupe body style with plenty of power, up to 563 hp and 479 lb ft of torque. As with most SLS AMG models, the 2010 also featured a 7-speed sports transmission with a transaxle arrangement for the lightweight carbon fiber driveshaft. This incredible supercar can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds.
The 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG has a gorgeous body shape, which is accentuated by the matte black paint job on this 1/18 scale model by Minichamps Diecast. The color and shape make this an incredibly sleek and attractive option for any collection or display.
With a top speed of 196 mph and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, the 2013 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG was a great choice for the Rowe Racing team. Carbon fibre and titanium made for a lighter vehicle, which helped the team take third and fourth place in that year's 24 Hours of Nürburgring race. The special 7-speed transmission allowed for faster shifting speeds, with manual mode controls more easily accessible than before.
Minichamps has recreated the 2013 F1 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Rowe Racing vehicle from top to bottom, including all the decals from the original. As always, Minichamps has reproduced the vehicle on a 1/18 scale with all details intact, creating a quality product any collector would be proud to show off.
The 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster had much in common with the coupe-styled vehicles, but as it was a convertible it lacked the iconic gullwing doors. Many luxury features were added, such as automatic climate control and a keyless-go functionality, in addition to the structural reinforcements and design tweaks. Everything about this vehicle exuded class, from the 265/35 ZR 19 front wheels to the 3-layered fabric convertible top.
This metallic blue 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster model is a great piece for any collection. Minichamps has encapsulated the elegant combination of grace, power, and luxury to perfection on a 1/18 scale. This piece fits well into displays of all sorts with its sophisticated design.
