Rolls-Royce is a name well-known to just about every auto-lover and collector. Since the beginning of the brand in 1904, every Rolls-Royce model has been highly sought after. Now as a subsidiary of BMW, Rolls-Royce has gotten a new start from the 2003 Phantom up to the 2015 Dawn. The Phantom and all the iconic vehicles that followed have stayed true to the legacy of perfection that was originally developed by Henry Royce, with many parts being hand polished and crafted with care. Collectable Diecast has many Rolls-Royce models available from Kyosho to add to your display to add even more quality, sophistication, and style.
While Phantom has been the name on Rolls-Royce vehicles for almost a century, the 2003 Phantom was something special. The Phantom Extended Wheel Base (EWB) from 2005 and the Phantom Drophead Coupe from 2008 borrowed heavily from the 2003 design. The EWB, however, is 250mm longer than the regular Phantom, giving drivers greater comfort in an already desirable package. The largely aluminum body weighs 5,478 lbs, but the Phantom's V12 engine still gets this car going from 0 to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds. The 4-door version has coach doors in the rear, following the Rolls-Royce tradition.
Kyosho has replicated many of the Rolls-Royce vehicles fabulously, and this 1/18 scale diecast model of the 2003 based Rolls Royce Phantom 4-Door Extended Wheel Base is no exception. The silver paint shows off the classic luxury and elegance of the original Phantom model.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe is very similar to the Phantom, with the same V12 engine and a similar design, but with only 2 doors. Upon opening the coach doors of this luxury car, drivers encountered leather trim and wooden veneers, all handcrafted in the Rolls-Royce style. Along with an impressive 521 lb ft of torque and top speed of 155 mph, the Phantom Coupe came with many luxury interior and design options.
With a stunning black and white paint job designed to be reminiscent of the 1930s, this Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe 2 Tone is a gorgeous and classy option for any collector. The white hood shows off the well-known Rolls-Royce ornament and accentuates the iconic body design on a 1/18 scale. Once again, Kyosho has gotten every detail down from top to bottom.
Introduced in 2011, the Rolls-Royce Ghost EWB was a longer, less expensive option for Phantom lovers. The V12 twin turbo engine gave this model 575 lb ft of torque, more than the Phantom Coupe, and a much higher acceleration speed of 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds – though the top speed was the same. The extended wheel base gave the passengers an additional 17 cm of room, but the vehicle as a whole was still smaller than the Phantom. The smaller design and lower price made the Ghost a great competitor for other, more accessible vehicles like the Bentley Continental Flying Spur that came out a few years prior.
This 1/43 scale model replica of the Rolls-Royce Ghost EWB has been painstakingly created by Kyosho to help give Rolls-Royce lovers everywhere the chance to add this beautiful vehicle to their collection. The diamond black paint job with a white hood is similar to the Phantom Coupe 2 tone, but with just enough shape and personality to set it apart in a league of its own.
